Frances Kearney is a Norfolk based photographer who studied at the Royal College of Art; she exhibits nationally and internationally and has work in Collections including the Victoria & Albert Museum and the Saatchi Collection  

She produces beautiful yet unsettling images which at first glance seem to be documenting mundane everyday domestic activity and relationships. However, the formal composition, clarity and strange intensity of the image indicates that these are carefully staged photographs which inhabit the same hyper reality as the film still.  

For ‘Untitled I’, Kearney worked with University of Hertfordshire Galleries, as part of the Eastern Pavilions print portfolio. 

The Eastern Pavilions print portfolio is a boxed set of 12 Limited Edition artists’ prints in an edition of 144. Each print is signed and hand-numbered by the artist.   

The portfolio was collaboratively commissioned by visual arts organisations from across the East of England in 2011. Each organisation worked with an artist who has a connection to the region or the gallery programme.  

For the first time, each print is available to purchase separately for £180, including UK postage and packing.
