Andy Holden makes objects, images, films, music and lectures that explore, amongst other things, memory, duration, and our attachment to objects. His Pyramid Piece, an enormous laboriously knitted boulder and accompanying film, exhibited in Art Now at Tate Britain represented and attempted to reconcile the artists’ guilt about stealing a piece of the Pyramid at Giza as a child. Holden trained at Goldsmiths and is based in Bedford.

For ‘Untitled’, Holden worked with Bedford Creative Arts, as part of the Eastern Pavilions print portfolio.
The Eastern Pavilions print portfolio is a boxed set of 12 Limited Edition artists’ prints in an edition of 144. Each print is signed and hand-numbered by the artist.
The portfolio was collaboratively commissioned by visual arts organisations from across the East of England in 2011. Each organisation worked with an artist who has a connection to the region or the gallery programme.
For the first time, each print is available to purchase separately for £180, including UK postage and packing.
