A symposium that considers how organisations and curators support and work with artists to develop new work at pivotal points of their careers focusing on emergent practitioners. The event will be made up of a series of 'in-conversations' where artists will question curators or organisation directors.

This event will be a great opportunity to find out more about some key projects and organisations, it will also provide a valuable learning exchange to consider what support structures exists already in organisations and how useful they are for artists.
The event will be chaired by artist, writer and curator Fiona Jardine and will have contributions from: Rachel Adams (artist), Gareth Bell-Jones (curator), Craig Coulthard(artist), Kate Gray (Collective), Tessa Lynch (artist), Nuno Sacramento (SSW), Max Slaven (David Dale Gallery and Studios) and Sarah Tripp(artist)
