During our autumn gallery exhibition Ophiux, studioLAB art workshops will explore science through creative workshops. Supported by a lead artist the workshops take their inspiration from the gallery exhibition, scientific research, new technology and sci-fi stories.

Like scientists in a lab we will experiment with light, sound, sculpture and objects in order to explore their potential. Using our knowledge we will create fantastical hybrid creatures and machines re-inventing our studio space as a immersive group artwork.

Artist led workshops can be booked for groups of up to 30 students. Throughout the year workshops explore the current exhibition or a site artwork through creative, hands on activities and workshops can incorporate specific themes or topics on request.
