During each residency or exhibition, Wysing runs events for families led by artists that explore different aspects of the programme.

They offer many ways of being creative: den making, movie making, treasure hunts around the site and lots more.

Writers Jessica Penrose and Clare Crossman invite families to come and play in 'The Forest' at Wysing.  You will be led on a mystery tour that takes you into the stories and secrets of the forest, and the creatures and magical beings that live there.  Look, listen, touch and see.  Draw your ideas, write your own stories, speak your own poetry.

This is a free drop in session that runs from 1.30 to 4pm. Join Jessica and Clare on a guided tour out into the Wysing woods at 1.45, 2.15, 2.45 or 3.15pm, then come back to write, draw and create in our hidden worlds workshop space - or just come along anytime and take part in fun activities indoors.

Suitable for children aged 5 and upwards. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
