At Studio Voltaire, the group played the cardgame WITH: A deck of questions for building collectivity and care practice by Care for Collective Curatorial. Including: “45 questions that we created with the purpose of helping self-organised communities to intentionally develop their work and lives together. There are three sets of questions within this deck - the first acts as a warm up activity to tune into the body and mind before starting the game; the second encourages players to connect and learn about each other; and the third intends to exchange thoughts around collectivity.”

Care for Collective Curatorial (CCC) is an experimental learning platform that explores the idea of care, collectivity and curatorial thinking in actualising practice.

The artists then led a field recording session inside Studio Voltaire and around the Clapham area.

Syllabus VII: Studio Voltaire & TACO! Gathering 27-29 September

The Artists went to TACO! in Thamesmead to participate in an Open Receiver workshop with Short Wave Collective, which they made and then used in the local area.

On Saturday to evening, the Artists and TACO! hosted a public karaoke party Empty Void Orchestra. The Empty Void Orchestra was an open invitation to take part in shared listening and performance. To exchange and contribute (or not)  to an experimental orchestra using song, impromptu instrumentals, an adhoc performance against video backdrops.

On the final day, the group revisited their field recordings in a listening session. They also held a 'Work Swap' to share works and solve problems together.

The next gathering is online with Spike Island.
